Mentoring Scheme Launched for 2023
Women in Planning is today 31 July 2023 launching the third year of their Mentoring Scheme. Women in Planning leads change in the planning and built environment industry by making women visible, promoting diversity and inclusion, and supporting career development and the Mentoring Scheme enables Women in Planning to meet this objective.
The Mentoring Scheme aims to bring together individuals who are seeking support and guidance on their career development from more experienced professionals. The aim is to ‘buddy up’ mentor and mentees with the best fit in the matching process. Applications for mentees are open to all women working within the planning profession, from students through to those working in the boardroom and applications for mentors are open to all working within the planning profession.
Following the overwhelming response to the inaugural year of the Mentoring Scheme (2021-2022) and again when the Scheme doubled in matches (2022-2023), we hope our third year will be as successful as previous years.
