About the event
Join Women in Planning West Midlands Lunch & Learn webinar with Gemma Hyde. Gemma is Projects and Policy Manager – Healthier place-making, at the TCPA.
This webinar focuses on how the TCPA and partners are advocating for greater consideration of children and young people in policy and development.
Where a child lives – the built and natural environment around them – is critical to their health and wellbeing.
Their environments can have a profound impact upon their educational performance, social and emotional development, work outcomes, income and lifelong physical and mental health.
Yet, in English planning policy, and too often in practice, children and young people are underrepresented. Gemma will discuss why this is an issue and how we can overcome it.
The webinar starts at 12:30pm and there will be an opportunity for Q&As at around 1:15pm.
