About the event
Seeing the City Differently – A Hands‑On Workshop
Women in Planning East Midlands are delighted to be hosting a practical, half‑day workshop in Nottingham, in partnership with Nottingham City Council and kindly sponsored by STAT Planning.
The session will bring together expert practitioners from Nottingham City Council and the University of Nottingham to explore how we assess and improve urban design quality in practice. The day includes short talks, a live demonstration of new GIS mapping and 3D modelling tools from the University of Nottingham, and an outdoor urban appraisal exercise in the city centre.
