Women in Planning South West is pleased to be hosting Meeting Place for their interactive and thought‑provoking workshop exploring The Impact of a Home.
Drawing on Meeting Place’s groundbreaking research, this session goes beyond housing numbers to examine what secure, high‑quality homes truly enable — from better health and stronger communities to improved life chances and a more resilient economy.
Through discussion and practical insight, the workshop will challenge thinking about how the benefits of new development can be communicated. We’ll explore how using evidence alongside empathy can help build trust, shift perceptions, and foster more constructive conversations with communities.
