About the event

The Importance of Collaborative Working: Delivering Visitor Improvements at Ightham Mote – Women in Planning Kent

Join Women in Planning Kent for an inspiring afternoon exploring the benefits of collaborative working and how it can be the key to delivering successful project outcomes. Hosted at the historic Ightham Mote, this event will highlight how close collaboration between planning consultants, architects and designers, the Local Planning Authority, and the National Trust has delivered sensitive improvements to visitor facilities, balancing the needs of the historic setting, ecology and the wider environment.

The event will include a short walking tour of the estate, so we recommend wearing practical footwear and suitable clothing.

Event Timings

  • 12:00pm – Arrive, refreshments and networking

  • 12:30pm – Introduction to Ightham Mote (Emma Hawkes – DHA and Bernadette Gillow – Site Manager at Ightham Mote)
