Please join us for our first Lunch and Learn for 2026 and get your CPD Diary off to a strong start, with the Women in Planning NE branch and guest speaker Millie Dodd.
Millie advocates the importance of supporters of housebuilding getting involved in planning, ensuring that those affected by the housing crisis are heard in the planning debate. She is the face of Just Build Homes, established by Shared Voice, to engage the voices of those who back proposals to generate an evidence base of supportive responses on planning portals, helping to get thousands of new homes approved.
Millie will discuss how the industry can do engagement differently to make planning more positive, and how she has had success engaging supportive voices affected by the housing crisis in a planning system too often dominated by objectors.
