Whose Heritage is it Anyway

Heritage isn’t just about old buildings. It’s about the stories, memories and values that people attach to places. In this session, Bethan Weir, Heritage & Townscape Director at Smith Jenkins, will explore how we understand heritage significance, whose views get represented, and how differing views of heritage value play out through the planning system when decisions are made about what is protected and what is lost. Come prepared to have your say!
