Women in Planning North East and Yorkshire branches are teaming up to provide a joint in-person event for our members in the city centre of York!
Join us at 5pm at Brewdog Micklegate, in York City Centre (approximately 10 minute's walk from York Station) for a conversation with Emer Kennedy on the changing face of Flood Risk planning and policy in 2025.
Emer is Head of Civil Engineering with AAH Consultants who are a multidisciplinary company specialising in Planning, Landscape Design and Civil Engineering located in York, and will be presenting the current requirements for flood management in the planning process as well as an overview of the recent changes to the EA maps. Emer has particular expertise in flood risk management and sustainable drainage and has delivered water infrastructure for civil engineering projects in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Denmark, Sweden and Peru.
