About the event

Join Women in Planning West Midlands for 'BNG two years on; reflections and what is next' with Joe Dance, Director of Strategic Ecology at Savills to discuss reflections on BNG and what changes could be on the horizon in the coming year.

We’re now 2 years into mandatory BNG requirement and whilst the principle is set, there still continues to be challenges with its application through the planning process.

Joe Dance is a Director at Savills and specialises in BNG – with a wealth of experience in advising on such matters. Through his unique insights into the BNG market, he will lead an interactive conversation into what’s working with BNG, what might not be working as well as it can do, what we can expect to change in 2026 and beyond, and recent case studies about the reality of the application on the ground including Appeals on Local Nature Recovery…
