About the event
Women in Planning West Midlands are delighted to be hosting a social value event in partnership with Walsall Council, offering a fantastic opportunity to give back to the local community while connecting with like-minded colleagues in the industry. The event will take place on 2nd June at 9:30am at Palfrey Park, where volunteers will come together and spend the morning supporting the ongoing care and enhancement of this valued green space, getting it ready for the summer months ahead.
This hands-on session will focus on a range of park maintenance activities, including mulching trees and planting areas, edging pathways, preparing new planting beds, painting park features, and litter picking. These tasks play an important role in supporting biodiversity, enhancing the appearance of the park, and ensuring it remains a welcoming environment for local residents and visitors.
